Job summary

VIVA Pediatrics is seeking a Therapy Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our pediatric therapy department. This full-time role coordinates therapy documentation, authorizations, referrals, caseload and staffing needs, operational reporting, and communication with therapists, patients/families, and internal departments.

The Therapy Coordinator works closely with the Therapy Director to help ensure therapy services and administrative processes are completed accurately, timely, and

Qualifications

• Healthcare coordination or administrative experience preferred.
• Pediatric home health experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor caseloads, referrals, staffing, waitlists, admissions, discharges.
• Coordinate therapy documentation workflows and approvals.
• Manage authorizations and payer requirements to prevent service interruptions.
• Collaborate with Therapy Director, IT, Billing to resolve issues.
• Assist with non-clinical IT and department communications.
