Job summary
Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation/ Therapeutic Apheresis unit.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years of RN practice, with at least 1 year in Dialysis or Apheresis, and involves 4 shifts of 9 hours weekly plus on-call. Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN practice; at least 1 year in Dialysis or Apheresis.
- Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
- Completion of CMH TA training within 6 months of hire.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform TA procedures under physician supervision and TA nursing assessments.
- Individualizes plans of care and documents changes in the care plan.
- Educate patients and families; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain TA equipment, supplies, and EPIC documentation.
- Coordinate TA scheduling and contribute to quality initiatives.
