Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation/ Therapeutic Apheresis unit.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of RN practice, with at least 1 year in Dialysis or Apheresis, and involves 4 shifts of 9 hours weekly plus on-call. The selected candidate will cross-train to the Infusion Center and support TA procedures, family education, and collaborative patient care within a

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN practice; at least 1 year in Dialysis or Apheresis.
• Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
• Completion of CMH TA training within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform TA procedures under physician supervision and TA nursing assessments.
• Individualizes plans of care and documents changes in the care plan.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain TA equipment, supplies, and EPIC documentation.
• Coordinate TA scheduling and contribute to quality initiatives.
