Job summary

The Blood Center is seeking Registered Nurses to perform therapeutic apheresis for patients across our hospitals in Louisiana. The role supports the care team with specialized procedures and on-call coverage.

A strong foundation in nursing with a focus on patient safety is essential. Qualified candidates will have an RN license in good standing, relevant apheresis experience, and a valid Louisiana driver's license.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing.
• Experience with therapeutic apheresis preferred; dialysis experience is a plus.
• Louisiana driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic apheresis on patients of the hospitals we serve.
• Contribute to an on-call rotation for evening and weekend coverage; most procedures are scheduled on weekday day shifts.

Compensation and Schedule

No routine 12-hour shifts; guaranteed 40 hours of pay, even when procedures are slow. Competitive starting wage and full benefits package including paid holidays, health, dental and life insurance on date of hire, paid time off after six months and an employer-contributed retirement plan.
