Job summary

TriHealth in Cincinnati OH seeks a Telephonic Triage LPN to join its pediatric care team. You will collect observations via phone and EMR, guide patients according to clinical protocols, and serve as a communication link among patients, caregivers, physicians, and pharmacies.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Licensed Practical Nurse credential required.
2-3 years Clinical Nursing experience.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to type and talk at the same time.
Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from Biological, Physical, Behavioral, Social and Nursing sciences.

Responsibilities

Coaching/Development: Fosters a positive work environment and supports peer coaching and collaboration.
Operations Management: Maintains Ready mode during work hours; ensures concise hand-offs using SBAR.
Patient Engagement: Uses AIDET+P and scripting to deliver consistent patient experiences and educates per guidelines.
Relationship/Culture: Supports diverse, collaborative relationships and age-appropriate care across the care team.
