Job summary

TriHealth seeks a Triage Registered Nurse for Perinatal Programs in Cincinnati to triage obstetrical and gynecologic calls. The nurse assesses symptoms, provides guidance, and coordinates care within established protocols on a day-shift, on-site basis.

Requires Ohio RN licensure, BSN within five years, and BLS. Epic navigation and strong communication are essential for collaboration with providers and teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• BSN required within 5 years of hire.
• 5+ years of experience in labor and delivery or women’s health.
• Current RN license in Ohio and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Triage obstetrical and gynecological patient calls via phone and assess needs.
• Provide guidance and determine appropriate level of care using protocols.
• Escalate urgent and emergent cases to physicians as warranted.
• Document in the medical record and coordinate care with TH teams.
