Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical dates, prep instructions, and follow-up details with families and providers.
• Collaborate with care teams, physicians, and anesthesia to confirm availability.
• Respond to scheduling inquiries and resolve conflicts with clinic and surgery staff.
• Schedule all surgical cases and related appointments using EMR systems (Epic or similar).
• Maintain waitlists, appointment logs, and arrival lists.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, referrals, and guardianship information.
• Prepare and distribute patient correspondence and surgery schedules promptly.
