Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Sherman Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation department in Elgin, IL. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification required (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy is expected.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referrals and conduct speech and language evaluations.
• Develop and implement written plans of care with measurable goals.
• Monitor outcomes; adjust treatment plans as needed; provide physician updates.
• Complete documentation, billing, and scheduling per department policy.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Supervise staff and participate in quality improvement activities.
