Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders in a rehabilitation setting.

You will develop care plans, document progress, discharge planning, and collaborate with physicians and staff. This part-time role includes weekend shifts and occasional holidays, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC SLP certification and state license required prior to hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Licensure in at least one state if multiple states are supported.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluations of patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts plans as needed, with physician/teammate updates.
• Completes documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing as required.
• Plans discharge including home programs and referrals for community services.
• Ensures patient safety and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
