Job summary

Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP Assistant to join our team in the Grand Prairie/Arlington, Texas area. You will provide in-home pediatric therapy, perform evaluations, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for medically fragile children.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech Pathology Assistant license required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automotive insurance.
  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients using standardized tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients.
  • Communicate progress with families and keep goals updated.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic treatment plans.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and update the healthcare team on changes to treatment plans.
  • Participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress.

Responsibilities


  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients\' needs for therapy. (SLP only)

  • Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician\'s orders.(SLP only)

  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.

  • Engage with patients\' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.

  • Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Salary

Speech-Language Pathologist $55.00 to $65.00 per visit


Speech Pathology Assistant - $40.00 to $45.00 per visit


Requirements

MUST have:



  • A valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech Pathology Assistant license in the state of Texas.

  • Current BLS/CPR License

  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver\'s license, and automotive insurance

  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
