Job summary

Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team serving the Oklahoma City area with in-home therapy for medically fragile children. Clinicians provide care in the comfort of patients' homes while building lasting relationships with families.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Oklahoma Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests to determine pediatric therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Engage with families, providing regular updates on goals and progress.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.

Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.

Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.

Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient

Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.

Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
