Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA certified) to provide comprehensive services for adults and children with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, and follow-up, with supervision of clinical fellows where applicable.

The candidate should have a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP eligibility, and completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year, with at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility required
• Successful completion of Praxis Examination
• Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
• 1 year of clinical experience required
• Pediatric experience with autism and feeding disorders preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical speech-language pathology services to HFHS patients
• Consult with patients, families, and staff about communication and swallowing disorders
• Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop treatment/therapy programs and conduct follow-up visits
• Supervise graduate students and clinical fellows as needed
• Engage in departmental education and research activities
• Represent the institution at conferences and community events
