Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited graduate program.
• Successful completion of the National Praxis Examination.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical speech-language pathology services to HFHS patients, including consultation with patients, family, and staff.
• Diagnoses speech, language or swallowing disorders and evaluates patient condition and prognosis.
• Develops treatment/therapy programs for patients and schedules follow-up visits.
• Operates clinical equipment to measure speech production characteristics during evaluations and treatment.
• Interacts with dietary personnel to develop swallowing-related nutrition plans.
• Participates in education and research programs and supervises students and fellows.
