Henry Ford Health seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA-certified) to deliver expert evaluation and treatment for adults and children with speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders.

The role involves diagnosing conditions, developing therapy plans, and supervising residents and fellows as part of HFHS education programs. Michigan licensure and CFY completion are required.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• National Praxis Examination completed.
• Clinical Fellowship Year completed.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting.
• State of Michigan license; ASHA CCC required.

Mansioni

• Provide clinical speech-language pathology services to HFHS patients including consultation with patients, family, and HFHS staff.
• Diagnose speech, language or swallowing disorders and evaluate patient condition and prognosis.
• Develop treatment/therapy programs for patients; schedule and conduct follow-up visits.
• Operate clinical equipment to measure speech production characteristics during evaluations and treatment.
• Support education and research programs within the department.
