Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA certified) to deliver clinical services to adults and children with speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders. You will diagnose, evaluate, treat, and follow-up under supervision of ASHA-certified SLPs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with medical teams, family education, and participation in program development and research activities while maintaining state licensure and CCCs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure in Michigan and ASHA CCCs.
• Successful completion of Praxis and Clinical Fellowship Year.
• One year of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical speech-language pathology services to HFHS patients including assessments and therapy for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnoses speech, language or swallowing disorders and develops/prognoses treatment plans.
• Schedules and conducts patient follow-up visits to monitor progress.
• Collaborates with medical staff, families, and dietary teams in care planning.
• Supervises graduate students and clinical fellows; participates in education and research activities.
