Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care in Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy to patients aged 0-21 in the home or daytime center, two or more times per week as ordered by physicians, with ongoing assessment and documentation.

Candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, Texas licensure, pediatrics experience; home-health preferred and bilingual Spanish a plus. Must have auto insurance and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP certification or successful completion of Clinical Fellowship year.
• Active Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in pediatrics required; home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0-21, 2+ times per week as ordered.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, and related impairments using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals for each patient and train team in therapy modalities.
• Plan and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
