Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy in the home or daytime facility, 2 or more visits per week, per physician orders.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas licensure, and CCC-SLP credentials with pediatric experience; Spanish bilingual is a plus. Auto insurance and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CCC-SLP/Clinical Fellowship completed.
• Texas licensure to practice SLP is required.
• Experience in pediatrics is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Must have valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, swallowing, feeding, and related impairments using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient goals and advise team on speech modalities.
• Plan for and adjust care to meet speech therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.
