Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care in Texas seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver pediatric therapy in the home or daytime facilities, two or more visits weekly. You will assess and treat speech, language, voice, swallowing, and related disorders, interpret diagnostics, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to set and evaluate goals.

Requirements include a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, Texas license, pediatrics and home health experience; bilingual Spanish

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Clinical Fellowship year completed with CCC-SLP.
Texas licensure to practice SLP.
Experience in pediatrics required.
Home health experience preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Valid auto insurance and driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for ages 0-21, 2+ times per week.
Define speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, and related impairments using appropriate tests.
Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient goals.
Plan and modify care to meet speech therapy objectives.
Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training materials and in-service programs.
May supervise Clinical Fellows and SLP Assistants with sufficient experience.
