Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to serve pediatric patients in the home health setting, 2+ visits per week as ordered by physicians.

You will assess and treat communication and feeding disorders in ages 0-21, develop diagnostic reports, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan goals and interventions. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred; Texas license required.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification and Texas license required.
• Experience with pediatric populations in home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities, 2+ visits weekly as prescribed.
• Assess and define degree and type of speech-language impairment using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and interventions.
• Modify care plans to meet therapy goals and educate staff and caregivers.
• Supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP assistants with 3+ years experience if applicable.
