Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for pediatric home health. You will provide therapy in patients' homes or in a daytime facility, typically 2+ sessions per week, and work with a multidisciplinary team to set goals and outcomes.

Responsibilities include testing, reporting, and educating families while potentially supervising junior staff. A Texas license, CCC-SLP CF completion, and pediatric experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• Licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics is required; home health experience is preferred.
• Feeding experience is required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0-21 years old, 2+ times per week per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing and/or fluency impairments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals; advise and instruct team in speech therapy modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and materials as part of the speech therapy program.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or SLP Assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.
