Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric in-home services and daytime facility therapy for ages 0–21. Execute assessments, interpret data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve treatment goals.

Responsibilities include planning interventions, educating staff and caregivers, and potentially supervising Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Feeding experience required.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Assess and define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and fluency impairments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• In collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate goals and instruct the team in speech therapy modalities.
• Plan and modify care to meet speech therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.
