Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, with sessions at least twice weekly per physician orders. The role requires a Master’s in SLP, Texas licensure, and CCC-SLP, with pediatric and feeding experience.

The clinician will assess speech, language, voice, and related functions using tests, interpret results, and document diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP certification
• Texas state licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Feeding experience required
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years old, 2 or more times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and advise on speech therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training and in-service programs within a total speech therapy program.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or SLP Assistants if you have three or more years of experience.
