Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric home-health therapy. The role includes serving patients 0-21 years old, multiple weekly visits, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A Clinical Fellowship completion and Texas licensure are required.

Experience in pediatrics is essential; home health experience is preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and applicants must maintain auto insurance and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0-21 years, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments with appropriate testing.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals; advise, consult, and instruct team in speech therapy modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, materials, and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows and/or SLP Assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.
