Job summary

Advocate Health in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join the outpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized plans of care.

Work includes pediatrics focus, occasional evening shifts, and collaboration with pediatric therapists. A Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and state licensure are required, along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited school or educational requirements commensurate with graduation date.
• Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the state where practicing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts speech and language evaluations for disorders.
• Establishes a written plan of care and implements individualized treatment.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts the treatment plan; provides updates to physicians and team.
• Discharges with written home programs and family education; coordinates referrals.
