Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for outpatient pediatrics, with supervising pediatric team collaboration and two evening shifts weekly. Primary responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and delivering evidence-based treatment, and coordinating discharge with home programs.

Hours are 40/week with a sign-on bonus and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour. A Master’s degree and state licensure are required, along with BLS; regional travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology required or equivalent per graduation date.
• Speech Language Pathologist license for state of practice required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) within 90 days unless exempted by department lead.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referrals and conduct speech and language evaluations for diverse disorders.
• Develop written plans of care and implement individualized treatment based on evaluations and goals.
• Discharge planning including home programs and family teaching; coordinate with care continuum.
