Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for part-time evening hours at our Shorewood clinic in Illinois. The role focuses on pediatric communication, with opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team and specialize in areas such as feeding therapy and AAC evaluations.

You’ll prepare and implement treatment plans for children from birth to age 18, set client-centered communication goals, and guide families to reinforce strategies at home.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
