Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our Phoenix-area team. You will provide pediatric speech therapy for children ages 2–6 using an interdisciplinary, ESDM-informed approach, focusing on meaningful communication development and AAC strategies when appropriate.

The role offers full-time hours with a schedule option of 4x10 or 5x8, a competitive compensation range, and opportunities for certification and career growth within a supportive center environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position
  • Current license to practice speech language pathology
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • AAC experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2–6 in an early intervention setting
  • Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians
  • Integrate communication goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention
  • Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy
  • Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day
  • Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s evolving needs
