Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support pediatric clients (ages 2–6) in an ESDM-informed early intervention model. You will assess, plan, and deliver targeted speech therapy while collaborating with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.

You will work with families to set meaningful goals and utilize AAC strategies when appropriate, advancing children’s communication skills in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• AAC experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2–6 in an early intervention setting.
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate communication goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and evolving needs.
