Job summary

Harpers Kids’ Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), aiming to create a Patient for Life (PFL). The role involves preparing patients, assisting with procedures, maintaining clean operatory, and ensuring efficient scheduling across specialties.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with required training per state.
• Certification/licenses/registrations as mandated by state.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians in delivering dental care and preparing patients for examination.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and manage instrument sterilization.
• Escort patients to the front desk and coordinate with the team to ensure smooth orthodontic schedules.
• Prepare radiographs and intra-oral images as directed by the clinician.
• Manage treatment records and obtain consent and health history as needed.
• Support daily huddles and team meetings and uphold PPE protocols.
