Job summary

Harpers Kids’ Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist with examinations, handle radiographs, manage instrument setups, and ensure a clean, sterile environment across pediatric and orthodontic care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with state-certification as needed, plus strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training/certification.
• One-year certificate from accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state dental auxiliaries regulations.
• Assist clinicians to deliver PPE and create a PPE-focused patient experience.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk and clinical teams.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and sterilize instruments per infection control guidelines.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to provide efficient care.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photographs as directed by the clinician.
• Manage supplies and instrument setups for procedures.
• Document patient records in the digital chart accurately.
