Job summary

My Kid's Dentist is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience and build a Patient for Life. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, and maintain a clean, sterile operatory while coordinating with front desk staff.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a busy dental practice environment across multiple offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED; completion of required state certification/ licensure as mandated.
• State-specific certification/licensure requirements must be maintained.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance and be able to travel to multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to provide efficient, quality care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory; maintain a clean, sterile environment.
• Record patient charting and clinician notes in the digital chart per instructions.
• Assist with radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Support front/back office by coordinating with teams to keep schedules flowing smoothly.
