Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) across pediatric to specialty settings. You will prepare patients, assist during procedures, and help maintain a clean, efficient practice environment.

The role involves sterilization, radiography, charting, and collaboration with front office staff to ensure smooth scheduling and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED; state-required certification as applicable.
• Valid driver's license and travel to multiple offices may be required.
• Must be able to read, interpret, and apply dental procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to work respectfully with clinicians and front office staff.
• Preferred one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist clinicians during treatment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness.
• Assist with radiographs and intra-oral photographs as directed.
• Maintain patient charts and document clinician notes in the digital chart.
• Support daily huddles and team meetings; uphold PPE standards.
