Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to deliver pediatric speech therapy under licensed SLP supervision. You will work with children ages 2–6 in an early intervention setting, using ES DM-based play and AAC strategies.

The role involves collaborating with other clinicians, integrating IEP goals into daily routines, and partnering with families to support communication development. Competitive salary and bonus potential included.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Active state licensure/registration as SLPA.
• ASHA C-SLPA certification.
• Experience with children; AAC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pediatric speech therapy sessions for children ages 2–6 following supervision plans.
• Implement functional communication interventions, including AAC strategies in an early intervention setting.
• Integrate speech and language goals into ES DM-informed, play-based care.
• Collaborate with RBTs, OTs, and other clinicians to reinforce goals throughout the day.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies for home use.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, play-based communication interventions.
