Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Peoria, AZ hires a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support pediatric therapy for ages 2–6 under licensed SLP supervision. You will deliver direct sessions, implement AAC strategies, and integrate goals into an ESDM-informed, play-based care model.

Collaboration with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and families is essential to build meaningful communication skills. The role is full-time on-site with competitive pay ($70k–$75k) and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• Degree required meeting state licensure requirements.
• Active state licensure or registration as SLPA.
• ASHA C-SLPA certification.
• Experience working with children; AAC experience a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct pediatric speech therapy sessions under supervision.
• Implement functional communication interventions including AAC.
• Integrate goals into ESDM-informed care model.
• Collaborate with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists.
• Partner with families to set goals and strategies.
• Support children with autism through play-based interventions.
