Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an SLPA to deliver pediatric speech therapy sessions for children aged 2–6 under SLP supervision. The role emphasizes early intervention, AAC strategies, and play-based care integrated with ESDM principles.

The successful candidate will collaborate with RBTs, OTs, psychologists, and families to set practical goals and support children's communication development in a on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field meeting state requirements.
• Active state licensure or registration as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Active ASHA C-SLPA certification (C-SLPA).
• Experience working with children preferred; AAC experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and relationship-building skills, and a passion for pediatric speech therapy and interdisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct pediatric speech therapy sessions for children ages 2-6.
• Implement functional communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices.
• Integrate speech and language goals into the ESDM-informed, play-based care model.
• Collaborate with RBTs, OTs, and other clinicians to reinforce goals.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies.
