Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a dynamic school-based contract position. You’ll assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs and collaborate with educators and families to develop effective treatment plans.

Direct therapy will occur on-site and via teletherapy, with strong support for continuing education and multidisciplinary teamwork. The role welcomes CCC-eligible clinicians, CFY candidates, and SLPA-qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid state licensure and appropriate certification.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred; CFY candidates encouraged.
• Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus.
• SLPA candidates must hold relevant state licensure and education.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Dedication to culturally responsive and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess students speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families.
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups, both on-site and via teletherapy.
• Document progress, prepare IEPs, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students outside of sessions.
• Supervise SLPA staff (if applicable, depending on qualifications).
• Stay current on best practices and continuing education.
