Job summary

The Pelham, Alabama pediatric outpatient therapy clinic is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its supportive team. The role emphasizes one-on-one care, meaningful family relationships, and excellent administrative support in a nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pediatric SLP experience required.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based intervention for children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to support functional outcomes.
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to encourage progress outside of therapy.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and clinic staff to provide consistent, high-quality care.
