Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a nonprofit pediatric outpatient clinic in Pelham, AL. The role emphasizes one-on-one care, family collaboration, and meaningful, evidence-based therapy.

The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, with a competitive salary of $65,000–$70,000+ depending on experience and a substantial sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Alabama SLP license.
• Pediatric speech-language pathology experience required.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based intervention for children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to support functional outcomes.
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to encourage progress outside of therapy.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and clinic staff to provide consistent, high-quality care.
