6 Degrees Search invites a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join a nonprofit pediatric outpatient clinic in Pelham, AL. You will conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and deliver one-on-one therapy focused on children’s communication needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Alabama SLP license.
• Pediatric speech-language pathology experience required.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to high-quality pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based intervention for children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to support functional outcomes.
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to encourage progress outside of therapy.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and clinic staff to provide high-quality care.
