Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric home health services 0–21 years, with at least two visits per week per physician orders. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, swallowing, and related disorders in the child’s home or daytime facility.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in SLP, CCC-SLP, Texas licensure, and pediatric/home health experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Feeding experience required.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0-21, 2+ times weekly, per physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of impairment using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals.
• Plan and modify care to meet speech therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and materials in the speech program.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows and/or SLP Assistants after 3+ years of experience.
