Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities in Texas. Case load includes 0-21 years, with 2+ visits weekly, per physician orders.

Responsibilities include testing, reports, team collaboration, care modification, and staff education. Clinical Fellowship supervision may apply for senior staff. Valid TX license and pediatric experience required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP certification and Clinical Fellowship year completed.
• Texas SLP license required.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, and/or fluency impairment(s) and select appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and train team in speech modalities.
• Plan and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if possessing three+ years of experience.
