Bierman Autism Centers is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our center-based team in Indianapolis. You will work with an interdisciplinary group to deliver one-on-one, play-based therapy that builds foundational communication skills for children with autism.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry clients who are at least 30 pounds.
• Must have hearing ability sufficient to evaluate client’s speech.
• Must be able to restrain/hold/transport and move as indicated in the Behavior Support Plan.
• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures including kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing, bending.

Responsibilities

• Providing center-based occupational therapy for children with autism.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of other experienced individuals, including OTs, BCBAs, and RBTs.
• Provide training to team members and families.
• Conduct assessments.
• Create Treatment Plans.
• Monitor and manage the progress of clients.
