Work with school-aged children in a supportive educational setting, providing evaluation, direct therapy, and collaboration with teachers and families. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC).
• Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in a school environment.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based assessment and intervention methods for children.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Adaptability to work within diverse school settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Provide direct therapy to students individually and in small group settings.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student learning.
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and required reports in compliance with school district and state regulations.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
• Serve as a resource for parents, caregivers, and educational professionals regarding strategies and supports.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology and best practices.
