Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. seeks an RN Assistant Nurse Manager for Pediatrics in Baltimore to lead evening and night operations in a high-acuity setting. The role requires a BSN, Maryland or compact RN license, and 3+ years in Pediatrics, PICU, or NICU with progressive leadership experience.

You will support staff, maintain clinical competency, and step in for the Nurse Manager after hours, ensuring patient safety and efficient unit performance.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license or compact RN license.
• BSN required.
• At least three years of nursing experience in Pediatrics, PICU, or NICU.
• Progressive leadership experience, such as charge nurse responsibilities, precepting, or similar assignments.
• Strong patient safety, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff and unit operations during evening and night shifts.
• Maintain clinical competence in the relevant pediatric/critical-care specialty.
• Assume unit-level oversight when the Nurse Manager is absent.
• Support patient throughput, staff engagement, and positive patient outcomes.
