Job summary

aah is seeking an experienced RN for the General Pediatrics unit at Atrium Health Union. The role involves 36 hours per week of full-time nights, 7pm-7am, with weekend and holiday requirements, on a 10-bed unit that handles a wide range of pediatric cases and some outpatient procedures.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care. Requirements include an RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in professional governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to optimize outcomes.
• Maintains safety culture and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies as per protocols.
• Floats to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
