Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Jeff Gordon Children’s Center is seeking a qualified registered nurse to join the pediatrics unit. You will provide coordinated patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards and policies.

This 36-hour work week features three 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) with weekend and holiday rotation. Required are completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, BLS, and active PALS within 6

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• One year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
