Job summary

Shriners Children’s Ohio is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse for our PACU / Same Day Surgery team. This full-time role offers 10-hour shifts and bi-weekly hours, with a focus on safe recovery care for children after surgery.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, participate in daily rounds, provide nursing care, and contribute to leadership through preceptorship and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or in progress.
• Ohio RN license.
• 1 year experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or ICU.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification or obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily planning via patient rounds.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team for the plan of care.
• RN provides leadership through preceptor role and quality improvement efforts.
