Job summary

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 pediatric nursing care for an 11-year-old Spanish-speaking client in Paramus, NJ.

You will work closely with the family and the pediatric clinical team to deliver hands-on nursing care, monitor the child’s condition, and perform prescribed treatments such as suctioning and nebulizer therapy. This role offers consistent weekday and weekend hours with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license required.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking RN preferred.
• Experience in pediatric home care or acute care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 1:1 pediatric nursing care.
• Suctioning and administer prescribed nebulizer treatments.
• Monitor child’s condition and report changes to family and clinical team.
• Follow the individualized plan of care and document care accurately.

Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Paramus, NJ

$45/Hour | 1:1 Home Care Nursing | Consistent Schedule

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 pediatric nursing care for an 11-year-old Spanish-speaking client in Paramus, NJ.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys building meaningful relationships with pediatric clients and families while providing hands‑on, individualized nursing care in the home.

CASE DETAILS

Location: Paramus, NJ

Pay: $45/hour

Patient: 11-year-old pediatric client

Care: 1:1 Home Care Nursing

Spanish-speaking/bilingual RN required

SCHEDULE

Weekdays: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Weekends: Saturday-Sunday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As the RN on this case, you will provide hands‑on nursing care while working closely with the child's family and Asserted Home Care's pediatric clinical team.

• Provide safe, compassionate 1:1 pediatric nursing care


• Perform and assist with suctioning


• Provide prescribed nebulizer treatments


• Monitor the child's condition and recognize changes in status


• Follow the individualized plan of care


• Communicate clinical updates with the family and supervising clinical team


• Maintain accurate nursing documentation


• Promote the child's safety, comfort, and overall well-being

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Current New Jersey RN License


• Preferred 1 year pediatric experience (home care or acute care)


• Proficiency with suctioning required


• Experience with nebulizer treatments preferred


• Spanish-speaking/bilingual required


• Current BLS Certification


• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills


• Compassionate and dependable approach to pediatric care


• Authorized to work in the United States


• Valid driver's license preferred

REQUIRED HEALTH & COMPLIANCE DOCUMENTATION

• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months


• PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years


• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
