Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. is hiring experienced Pediatric Behavioral Nurses (RNs and LPNs) to provide 1:1 home care for a 13-year-old client with Autism and seizure needs in Newark, NJ.

You will deliver behavioral support, seizure management, medication administration, and compassionate hands-on care in a home setting, with evening and overnight shifts.

Candidates must hold valid NJ RN or LPN license, pediatric nursing experience, BLS, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN or LPN license.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with autism or behavioral needs strongly preferred.
• Experience with seizure management and medication administration.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 pediatric nursing care in a home setting.
• Deliver behavioral support and safety supervision.
• Administer medications and manage seizures as prescribed.
• Monitor client condition and communicate with caregivers and clinical team.

Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Pediatric Behavioral Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a 13-year-old pediatric client with Autism and seizure needs in Newark, NJ.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working one-on-one with pediatric clients and is comfortable providing behavioral support, seizure management, medication administration, and compassionate hands-on care in a home setting.

COMPETITIVE PAY

• Registered Nurse (RN): $45/hour
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $40/hour

CASE DETAILS

• Location: Newark, NJ
• Client: 13-year-old pediatric client
• Setting: 1:1 Home Care
• Clinical Needs: Autism, seizure management, medication administration
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday
• Shifts Available:
  • 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• Evening and overnight opportunities available

As a Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse, you will provide individualized nursing care while supporting the client's safety, comfort, and daily needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

For RN and LPN candidates:

• Current New Jersey RN or LPN license
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Experience working with children with Autism or behavioral needs strongly preferred
• Experience with seizure management and medication administration
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive
• Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a home environment
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred

HEALTH & COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be able to provide:

• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or chest X‑ray within the past 5 years
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
