Job summary

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, one-on-one care to a 1-year-old pediatric girl with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube in her home. Hartford County, CT | Per Diem | Starting at $55/hour.

This role requires pediatric experience and a CT RN license with current BLS certification. Per diem shifts include day, evening, overnight, and weekend options with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum one year pediatric nursing experience.
• Tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube experience strongly preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States; valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one pediatric home care to ensure safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and manage medical equipment at home.
• Educate and support families in care routines.
• Coordinate with clinical team for ongoing treatment plans.

Affirmed Home Care is growing our Pediatric Division and seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, one-on-one care to a 1-year-old pediatric girl with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube in the comfort of her home.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an RN who is experienced in pediatric complex care and passionate about supporting children and their families in a home-care setting.

• Day shifts

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube experience strongly preferred
• Pediatric home care, hospital, or acute-care experience preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• Current TB screening, including PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past year, or chest X-ray documentation when applicable
