Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. seeks a compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide skilled, one-on-one care at a young patient’s home in Hartford County, CT. The role covers day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts with flexible per diem scheduling.

The RN must hold CT RN licensure with BLS, and bring pediatric clinical experience, including tracheostomy and ventilator care. Valid US work authorization and driving are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator and feeding tube strongly preferred.
• Pediatric home care or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled pediatric home care to a 1-year-old patient.
• Monitor and manage tracheostomy, ventilator and feeding tube needs.
• Collaborate with family and clinical team to ensure safe care at home.

Affirmed Home Care is growing our Pediatric Division and seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, one-on-one care to a 1-year-old pediatric girl with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube in the comfort of her home.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an RN who is experienced in pediatric complex care and passionate about supporting children and their families in a home-care setting.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube experience strongly preferred
• Pediatric home care, hospital, or acute-care experience preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• Current TB screening, including PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past year, or chest X-ray documentation when applicable
